When summer is welcomed at Magasin, it's all about escapism from the hustle and bustle of the big city and a unique collection of summer memories. Repeating last year's success, we set the stage for a magical summer at two of the country's most iconic locations. Inspired by exclusive summer clubs, this year we invite you to a summer-long festival of activities for both the festive souls and active types to the food enthusiasts and the youngest of the family, check out the full programme for both Copenhagen and Aarhus here.
This summer, experience a green oasis sprouting up in the centre of the iconic department store at Kgs. Nytorv. Just in time for the warm sunny days, on 1 June we open the doors to Copenhagen's new summer oasis and gathering place. In our Summer Garden on the 2nd floor, you can enjoy delicious snacks and summer wine in the sun or simply take a well-deserved rest in the beautiful surroundings created by New Works and others.

At Magasin du Nord Museum you can learn more about the story of our department store. Magasin was founded in 1868 in Aarhus and has had more than 200 stores all over Denmark.
