Denmark Tax Free Refund

If you live outside the EU you are entitled to a taxfree refund on purchases made in
Denmark. Remember to have your taxfree forms stamped by customs prior to your departure. The taxfree form is only valid for three months!
Remember to return the stamped forms to Denmark Tax Free Refund.

• Go shopping with Denmark Tax Free Refund. Remember to ask for a taxfree form. Your total spending in one shop must exceed DKK 300.
• Have your refund transferred to your credit card by filling in your credit card number on the form and mail your customs stamped form to Denmark Tax Free Refund. If you wish to receive a bank check a fee of DKK 100,- will be deducted.
• Receive your refund while you are still in town. Denmark Tax Free Refund offers City Cash refunds at Magasin du Nord, Illum and Forex (see map and explanation on reverse page).
• Receive your refund at Danske Bank, Copenhagen Airport - in the currency you prefer.
• Donate your refund to SOS Children’s Villages – long term help to children in need – by placing your signature below the declaration at the back of the form.

If you forget to get a customs stamp before departure, have your forms stamped by local authorities in your own country and mail the form to Denmark Tax Free Refund.

City Cash Refund

Go shopping with Denmark Tax Free Refund. Your total spending in one shop must
exceed DKK 300.

• Receive your refund while you are still in town. Denmark Tax Free Refund offers City Cash refunds at Magasin du Nord, Illum and Forex (see map).
  Please note – a City Cash fee of DKK 5 will be charged.
• Have your prepaid forms stamped by customs and send the forms to Denmark
Tax Free Refund within 30 days from payment date or the full VAT amount will be charged from your credit card.

If you forget to get a customs stamp before departure, have your form stamped by local authorities in your own country and mail the form to Denmark Tax Free Refund.

City cash (Prepaid) - Step by step

1. Go shopping with Denmark Tax Free Refund.
2. Present your taxfree form at one of our City Cash Centres to receive your refund in cash right away. Note: A valid credit card (VISA, Master or AMEX) is needed as guarantee to receive the pre-payment.
3. Present your Denmark Tax Free Refund form and - if requested - the purchased goods to customs prior to departure and have the taxfree form stamped.
4. Mail the form to Denmark Tax Free Refund in the pre-paid envelope.

Note -  If your form is not returned within 30 days after the pre-payment, the full refund amount will be charged to your credit card.
